Psychotherapy Services

Are you an overachiever feeling “not good enough” at work or in your relationships? Do you say yes to others even when you really want to say no? Perhaps on the outside, no one even notices that you’re hurting.
Are you experiencing loss and feel challenged by people’s insistence that they “know how you feel” and advice to “stay strong” and “look on the bright side”? Grief is agonizing, surprising, and often lonely.
Are you LGB, queer, trans/NB/GNC and looking for a therapist who "gets it"? Or, do you have a child or teen who recently came out as gay, lesbian, bi, queer or trans?
You're not alone, and I’m so glad that you found my page!
Brittney specializes in the following treatment areas:
Queer and LGB topics
Trans/NB/GNC topics
Grief and Loss
ADHD throughout the lifespan
Mood Disorders
Family Conflict
Trauma

Individual Therapy for Adults and Adolescents
I hope to create a space where you can feel safe, vulnerable and brave. I tailor my interventions for each client while integrating components of CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. I also use a psychodynamic lens to conceptualize patterns of behaviors. Please do not worry if you are unfamiliar with these terms and modalities. I am not here to treat you like a diagnosis; I am here to treat you like a unique individual with a broad range of thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Clinical Supervision
I love providing clinical supervision and case consultation to other clinicians practicing psychotherapy. I’ve been providing clinical supervision since 2016 and find this work very rewarding. Please reach out if you’re interested in a consultation to hear more about my supervision style and how I can support your practice.

Family Therapy
Families are some of my favorite groups with whom to work! With immense respect and cultural humility, I place myself into the role of the director. With compassionate and thoughtful restructuring techniques, your family can practice better boundaries, improve conflict resolution skills and increase communication/understanding. I draw heavily from Structural Family Therapy in my interventions.
